A Different Kind of Fairy Tale

When you think about fairy tales you might think about the works of Hans Christian Andersen. However, Teelie Turner writes a different kind of fairy tale, ones that include fairies and their adventures. Our first magical recommendation for today is Tommy Tinker and the Lost Candy Factory. You can find it on Amazon.

An Island Adventure

You have likely heard of Anne of Green Gables. However, are you familiar with another magical book by Lucy Maud Montgomery? Magic for Marigold is a beautifully written story that will transport you on an amazing island adventure. It is available on Amazon.

A Spellbinding Story

Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen is another amazing book which will take you on a spellbinding adventure. Are the Waverly family witches? What secrets or spells do their garden tell? Read this amazing story to find out. Visit Amazon to get your copy.

A Series of Magical Adventures

J.K. Rowling wrote seven books in her Harry Potter series, beginning with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. You may also find it as Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Did you know that J.K. Rowling’s magical series was rejected twelve times before getting a chance to be published? If you haven’t read Harry Potter, you can start your journey on Amazon.

1. A Magical Story for Children
The Magical Chicken Egg
2. An Intriguing Magical Book
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
3. Unlikely Friends
The Wizard of Oz
4. A Delicious Story
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

A Magical Story for Children

Finding the right magical story for children will help give them a beautiful connection to reading. We found The Magical Chicken Egg by Rebecca Rose Taylor and enjoyed the wonder of the story from the first page to the last. You can find a copy on Amazon if you would like to help Licorice and Ginger the goats, along with all their friends discover who laid an egg in their trough. The chickens said that it wasn’t them and then symbols begin to appear on the egg.

An Intriguing Magical Book

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis has been loved by both children and adults since 1950. It is a story of relationships, mystery, magic and surprise endings and new beginnings. If you have read it before or if you are looking for an intriguing book to read, this is a great option to help bring some magic to your life. You can find it on Amazon.

Unlikely Friends

Perhaps, you have seen The Wizard of Oz in the form of a movie or music, but have you ever read the book? This particular version meant to be an early chapter book for children was written by L. Frank Baum, adapted by Daisy Alberto, and illustrated by W.W. Denslow. Dorothy, her dog Toto, The Tin Man, The Scarecrow and The Lion made for unlikely friends, but they were on an amazing and magical journey in which they are all searching for something. You’ll find this book on Amazon.

A Delicious Story

Our final magical story suggestion for today is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory written by Ronald Dahl and enjoyed by generations since 1964. Have you heard about Charlie’s adventures in the chocolate factory? The story includes the oompa loompas, which is a magical sounding name. You’ll find this delicious and chocolatey story on Amazon.
