Feature Valentine’s Book Titles

Featuring Valentine’s book titles in your book nook can help bring the holiday to the forefront. Consider changing your featured books each month. You can find Sugarsnap The Valentine’s Card Fairy by Teelie Turner here.

Cozy Blankets

Consider using cozy blankets to add to the Valentine’s mood and theme. Not only will they keep you warm when you’re relaxing and reading a wonderful book, but they’ll look great too. We decided to share a blanket featuring the bluebirds from Sugarsnap The Valentine’s Card Fairy. The birds are standing with a tree filled with hearts. The blanket is available in small, medium and large sizes. Find it on Redbubble.

Add Some Décor

Add some Valentine’s decorations to your book nook to give it a festive feeling. There are so many possibilities. We found a banner with the word love on it in block lettering. It is beautiful with its many shades of pink. Find it on Etsy.

We recently shared an article about Valentine’s decorations for your office. You might find some suggestions in it for your book nook too. Find it here.

Put Up A Valentine’s Tree

Another intriguing Valentine’s idea to brighten up your book nook is to put up and decorate a Valentine’s Tree. It doesn’t need to be a large tree, a tabletop one will do, especially if your book nook is small. You also don’t need to buy a tree. If you had an artificial one for Christmas, you can use it. We found an amazing heart ornament with the heartbeat symbol that would look amazing on your tree. This ornament is also available in rainbow colors. Find it on Etsy. We also put together a list of some other Valentine’s tree decorations for your enjoyment. Find it here.

Get Comfortable on a Floor Pillow

Floor pillows make for comfortable seating and they can double as décor for your book nook. We decided to show you Chipy The Valentine’s Chipmunk’s floor pillow. He is featured in Sugarsnap The Valentine’s Card Fairy. Find the pillow on Redbubble.

Change the Lamp Shade

Sometimes, something as easy as changing the shade or cover on a floor or desk lamp can make a difference to the vibes that a room offers. We found a lacy, red lampshade cover that is beautiful for Valentine’s Day. Find it on Amazon.

Valentine’s Coasters

Consider setting Valentine’s coasters on tables or bookshelves to add some Valentine’s fun. You can find several different options on Redbubble including these ones featuring Vesta the Valentine’s Fairy.

Add Some Fairy Lights

Adding some twinkly fairy lights to your book nook can help increase its magical appearance for Valentine’s Day. We selected a set of fairy lights that have red hearts on it. Find it on Amazon.
