Magical Halloween Word Search

The first magical activity that we would like to share with you comes from our friend Gigi the Fairy. On her website, she has a number of spectacular activities for children and children at heart to enjoy. One of Gigi’s amazing Halloween activities is a word search. You can find it free here.

Spooktacular Coloring Book

Another fun activity that Teelie Turner has arranged for you comes in the form of a magical coloring book with over twenty-five pages of coloring fun. The book also has a bit of text in it, so you can enjoy learning about these incredible fairy witches from Teelie Turner’s book The Halloween Adventures of the 5 Spooktacular Witches. Find the coloring book on Amazon.

Discussing Magical Story Books

Discussing stories that children read, or that are read to them is also a fun literary activity. We think that children will love talking about Teelie Turner’s book The Halloween Adventures of the 5 Spooktacular Fairy Witches. They’ll have the opportunity to meet Fairy Chef Gardenia, Courtney the Costumes Fairy, Hallie the Holiday Store Owner Fairy, Trixie-Love the Trick-or-Treating Fairy, and Issy the Halloween Party Fairy. Learn more here.

Fun Sticker Activities

Stickers are also so much fun. All of Teelie Turner’s fairies have stickers available on Redbubble.  But we also wanted to show you this adorable book by Thomas Nelson called Pippa the Pumpkin Fairy Sticker Dolly Dress Up. Enjoy some Halloween fun with this adorable fairy on Amazon. You can also help dress our friend Gigi the Chic Fairy up for Halloween in her witch costume. Find the download for free here.

Haunted Halloween Lessons

We found an activity book for ages four to six that includes spelling, numbers, handwriting, mazes, and more on Amazon. This book has a Halloween theme to it.

Lift a Flap to Explore

Exploring is always fun. And, when you can do it without leaving the comfort of your home, it is even better. Boo Halloween is a Lift-a-Flap book so that you can find surprises hidden on each page. This book is available on Amazon. It was written by Rosa VonFeder and illustrated by Gaby Zermeno.

Draw a Picture Based on the Story

You may also enjoy drawing a picture based on the story that you’ve read or had read to you. We thought that the Spooky Little Kitten Halloween book would be a great inspiration for a story. The book is even shaped like a cat. This book was written by Rosa VonFeder and illustrated by Rachel Foo. Learn more on Amazon.

Act Out a Scene From The Story

Our final Halloween activity which is based on reading is to act out a scene from a story. With its fun storyline and rhymes, It’s Pumpkin Day, Mouse! Written by Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond would be a great choice. Find it on Amazon.
